Happy 2-year work anniversary, Marina

Today we celebrate the two year anniversary of Marina at Mono. I met Marina in January of 2017 in Ghent. Our first conversations were about a shared love for good design and Japan. And the lack of systems thinking with many designers.

It was immediately clear that she is a person with an educated opinion, and a fierce adversary in any debate she feels passionate about.

At Mono, all of us admire her ability to solve design problems graciously, and her unique ability to brings order to chaos. It made me wonder about our Japan conversation. There is something about Japan that seems to speak to designers; it must be the neatly structured chaos. A talented illustrator at heart though, it is not all hard design work. Illustrations and icons bring warmth to her work.

Fast-forward to May 2019, and we have been working with Marina for two years! Thank you Marina, for your help in making people connect a bit better with the digital world. And we hope there are many more years to come for you at Mono!
